History
Don Melnychuk founded DWM Training in 2012 as a way to help companies and individuals, fulfill their training needs in a safe, friendly and personable environment. Taylor, Don and the team of experienced trainers focus on safety, so that you can feel confident that your team is equipped with the most current training requirements as outlined by WorkSafe BC and CSA - ANSI. We believe that what makes an employee safe while using mobile equipment is knowing how to properly use the equipment, as well as being prepared for any potential or actual workplace hazard. It's important to us that your team has the knowledge to make the best of any situation. With over 30 years of experience in the field, we are able to give real life examples of what not to do.
We are a small group that is able to accommodate training individuals or groups of 2 to 10 and more if required. Individualized accommodations can also be made for your unique team. Just let us know how we can help. Training is provided "On-Site" at your location. Your Personnel receive first hand experience with the equipment that they will use at your workplace. This will lead to more competent operation and confident use.

MANAGER & TRAINER
Taylor Hamilton
My name Is Taylor Hamilton. I started the career portion of my life working with at-risk youth as a Probation Officer, because I knew that my purpose was to help others. When I met Don, I noticed that being a safety trainer is very aligned with the concept of helping. What's a better way to help others then to ensure they understand how to keep themselves and others physically safe while operating mobile equipment? There began my career working with DMW Training.
Since starting work with DWM in 2021, I have met so many wonderful trainees, safety focused individuals and their management teams. It appears that over the years, there has been an overall attitude shift about the importance of safety and ensuring operator competence. I am very happy to be part of a team that can supply a service that helps bring awareness and understanding to the seismic safety shift appearing in our laws and regulations today!
