Train The Trainer Training Programs

Certification programs for TTT of mobile equipment.

WorkSafe BC Regulations, CSA and ANSI Standards.

Material is delivered through interactive discussion, multi-media presentations along with workbooks and handouts, followed by practical hands-on training. Training Modules 1-16 include:

  • Module 1: In-House Trainer - Including sections 1 - 13 (In-House Trainer Pre-Requisites; Need For Acreditation; Trainer Requirements and Due Diligence; Standards: CSA, ANSI & SAIA; Regulations: OH&S Guidelines; Learning Styles; Training Aids; Presentation; Multimedia & Power Points; Presentation Analysis; Evaluations; Wallet Card and Certificate Preparation; Record Keeping)

  • Module 2: Fall Protection and Ladder Safety

  • Module 3: Aerial Work Platform Boomlift

  • Module 4: Aerial Work Platform Scissor Lift

  • Module 5: Aerial Work Platform Vertical Mast Personnel Lift

  • Module 6: Lift Truck Classes 1, 4 & 5

  • Module 7: Lift Truck Class 2 Reach and Carousel

  • Module 8: Lift Truck Class 2 OPR

  • Module 9: Lift Truck Class 3 Power Jack

  • Module 10: Lift Truck Class 6 Tow Tractor

  • Module 11: Lift Truck Class 7 RT Telehandler and Counterbalance

  • Module 12: Skid Steer Loader

  • Module 13: Front End Wheel Loader

  • Module 14: Compact Excavator

  • Module 15: Backhoe

  • Module 16: Overhead Crane

Successful completion of each training program will require the passing of an examination of both theory knowledge and practical operating skills. Each operator will be required to re-certify every 3 years to maintain up to date requirements.

Requirments:


CLASSROOM, THEORY & ELEMENTS

  • Legislation & Standards

  • Principals of Operation

  • Load Handling & Safe Operation

  • Operational Maintenance

  • Written Exam

WORKSITE HAZARD INSPECTION

  • Throughout the work day


COURSE MATERIALS PROVIDED

  • Workbook & Supplemental Handouts

  • Wallet card Certification: Upon successful course completion

  • Wall Certificate, if required

OPERATIONAL HANDS ON TRAINING

  • Operational Proficiency

  • Evaluation

Training:

TRAINING DURATION

Module 1

  • 5 - 6 hrs of Classroom and Practical

Module 2 - 16

  • 4 - 6 hrs, depending on trainer experience and aptitude.


Every trainer of any of these training programs will need to re-certify every 3 years. If you have previously taken a DWM Training course or have completed training through another qualified provider and need to re-certify, please contact us to set up your re-certification training dates.
